Definitions

a) Booking / Reservation : Whenever a Hirer follows a procedure as laid down on the website/PWA/Mobile Application(IOS & Android) and by agreeing to the terms and conditions here in appearing, he is said to have made a valid booking / reservation of the service provided by the selfdrive-ireland.com .

b) "Hirer/Renter/Driver" shall mean and include any Person who takes a vehicle from selfdrive-ireland.com on rent for self driving and is bound by the terms and conditions mentioned here in below and the relevant law of the Land.

c) "Person"means and includes any individual, company, partnership, trust, sole proprietorship or association or body of persons, whether incorporated or not.

d) "Rental" shall mean the entire course of taking/using a vehicle from Selfdrive-ireland.com on rent and shall include without limitation the entire period between the date shown on rental agreement/form or handing over the vehicle's key to Hirer whichever is earlier and returning, by Hirer the vehicle in good condition as received along with all its parts, accessories and other property given to the Hirer by selfdrive-ireland.com , and continues till the full and final payment by the Hirer.

e) "Rental Agreement" shall mean theagreement and associated items that details the details of the hire of the Vehicle, including, but not limited to, the driver(s)times of rental and associated locations/addresses.

f) "Vehicle" means the Vehicle described in the Rental Agreement that has been rented or agreed to be rented by You (or any substitute vehicle), and includes its parts, components, accessories and contents supplied by selfdrive-ireland.com & its partners.

g) "Additional Driver" means any driver other than you who is authorized by Selfdrive-ireland.com or its affiliate partners to driver the vehicle in accordance with the below terms& conditions.

Full Comprehensive insurance is provided subject to current Law. The Hirer is liable for the actual cost of the damage including the service charge (varies per car category)- against claims resulting from each and every accident including (hit-and-run) reporting at fault (as evidenced by a Police report). This can be waived by buying the super collision damage waiver (SCDW) if its applicable and offered by Selfdrive-ireland.com & its partners.

Kilometres are limited to 70 Miles per day on all types of rental (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) and for Subscription and Flexi lease i.e. more than 1 month booking it will between the range of 1500 - 2000 Milesper month or can offer Unlimited Mileage on selected Rentals(Subject to approval), where additional kilometres will be chargeableup to @ GBP 10 per km varies by vehicle's group and category (Actual charge to be checked in the Reservation ticket).

It includes routine servicing at 1,000 Miles (1st Service), oil change at ever 3000 Miles, and major servicing at every 7,500 Miles or at every six months whichever comes first as per the actual guidance of the Manufacturer.

a) In the event of routine service and maintenance, a replacement vehicle nearest in size and amenities to the hired one, as is possible, will be provided at no extra cost if the service duration is more than 24 hours.

a) In the event of any damage or accident to the car, police must be called before the vehicle is moved and a police report and a repair slip must be obtained. Should these documents failed to be obtained, then the Hirer is responsible for all damages incurred. The obtaining of these documents will be the responsibility of the Hirer.

b)Details of all the names and parties involved in the accidents including wherever possible any witness has to be shared with selfdrive-ireland.com and its affiliate partners.

a) All costs incurred as a result of Traffic Fines or other Penalties (imposed by traffic police or any other legal authorities) taking place during the Rental usage will be Hirer's responsibility and would be recovered accordingly.

b) There will be a Service charge of GBP 50 or 15 % whichever is higher on the total amount levied on top of the traffic fines or other penalties or additional charges.

c) By accepting to the Terms & Condition in the PWA/ Android (or) IoS App/ Website while making the booking/reservation you agree to pay the relevant administration charges, fees, theft & damage charges, toll charges, parking, traffic or any other fines or charges wherever applicable.

a) Special or Unleaded fuel is to be used

b) 20% service charge is added to the refuelling cost.

c) It is the responsibility of the hirer to check water and oil levels as well as tires pressure from time to time and keep it maintained at such levels as is expected as per the make of the car.

a) The Hirer must keep the hired vehicle in a clean, safe, and sound condition. Otherwise charges may be applied.

b) Tinting of vehicle's window glass is not permitted for rented vehicles; a fine of GBP10,000/- would be imposed on violators/offenders who would be held responsible for the same.

a) Hirer must inform Selfdrive-ireland.com or its associate partners, before hiring, of his intention to return the vehicle at another premise*(Subject to charge) and must define the date and time otherwise excess days' charge shall be imposed on him.

b) At the time of vehicle's off-hire, the cost of any un-reported damage's as well as damages with no police report's, would be fully charged to hirer's account

a) Hirers (and additional drivers) must be in possession of a full, unendorsed driving licence which they have held for at least 2 YEARS prior to the commencement of the rental. Licences must be produced in person at the car hire location at the time of collection. If a driver has any endorsements on their license, they must contact our Reservations Department prior to booking as there may be restrictions on renting. Failure to inform us of endorsements will result in the driver being refused the vehicle and forfeiting any deposit taken. Licences must be from the country of permanent residence. NON-EU/EEA driving licences cannot be accepted if the holder has been resident in Ireland for more than 12 months. Holders of UK, US, Canadian, Australian and all EU member states are NOT required to supply an International Driving Permit (IDP). International Driving Permits where required, MUST BE accompanied by the original domestic licence of the driver. This is clearly stated on the international permit. An international permit presented without the domestic licence, will not be accepted.

a) Payment terms are non – negotiable and the payment will be processed in the application before the vehicle checkout in the credit card or the debit card used by the customer.Rental charges and the security deposit/hold (If applicable) will be processed on the card used before the vehicle check out to confirm the rental reservation. Failure in either of the payment being processed, the rental reservation will not be confirmed and no vehicle will be allotted for pickup.

b) NOTE : The Renter needs to be the Credit Card Holder or the Card Holder and the Renter needs to be present at the time for collection of the car at the rental counter or Delivery to sign the agreement. In the event the card holder policy is not fulfilled the Reservation will be cancelled and 10% Admin Charge will be applicable and the remaining amount will be refunded. Deposit amount of GBP 500- 7500/-(As per the car category) will be blocked on client's credit card/Debit Card to cover possible traffic fines, minor damage to vehicle (in so far as the amount covers the repair charges, otherwise the balance will be billed to hirer's account); the same will be automatically released in 30 working days after the date on which hirer hands-over the vehicle in good and sound condition as specified above, as long as no Traffic Fine's gets recorded on hirer's Rental. (Selfdrive-ireland.com or its associate partners is not responsible for any difference between the amount blocked & the amount released resulting from the fluctuation of foreign exchange rates and other possible banking charges).

c) After Successful Booking, an E-ticket will be sent by Email to registered email id and SMS will be sent to registered Mobile No. as Payment Confirmation.Selfdrive-ireland.com or its associate partners will not be held responsible for the non-recipient of the email communication due to any typographical mistake by the renter or any other external factors.

d) Late Payment Charges: In the event of payments not received for extension of a reservation Late payment charge of minimum GBP 250 per month on all the late payment Invoiced months will be applicable.

e) Renter/Driver has to provide the card used for the booking (Credit/Debit) as a proof of identity to ensure that the vehicle is provided to the person who has made the booking.

IMPORTANT - EXTENSION of Reservation.

The Hirer hereby authorizes selfdrive and its affiliate partners to seize and/or take steps to seize and/or authorize another to sieze the subject matter rented and/or perform any act that is necessary to retrieve the subject matter and thereafter repossess the subject matter by gaining full physical custody and control of the rented subject matter, upon the hirer commits and/or alleged to have committed an act, which was not subsequently rectified within the time period as notified by the selfdrive or its affiliate partners, that repudiates the contract between the Selfdrive and hirer.

The Hirer further acknowledges that the representatives of the Selfdrive or its affiliate partners have the full authority to accept the delivery of the subject matter rented and the hirer irrevocably agrees to hand over peaceful custody of such subject matter to the representative(s) of selfdrive or its affiliate partners upon a legitimate representation is made to that effect.

a) All offers are limited to only the 1st reservation and same offer rates will not be applicable on extension of the reservation. Offers are limited to car models and time and duration. selfdrive-ireland.com reserves the right to close the offer period or close the complete offer without any prior notice. All Extension will be shifted to the new rates post the offer ends. Subjected to prior information and confirmation from selfdrive-ireland.com under Micro Lease *( Advance EMI Plan).

IMPORTANT - OFFERS

b) For any voucher/discount bookings, the original valid voucher together with a valid card (Credit/Debit) for any additional charges like Security deposit, additional services (SCDW, Delivery & Collection etc.) must be presented. Any vouchers issued by Selfdrive-ireland.com is non-redeemable as cash or cannot be refunded as cash.

c) Rental agreement/contracts offered with special discounted rates/Seasonal discounts due to exceptional market situations will be offered a revised rate as and when the prices are revised by our partners and subsequent extensions will be extended as per the new price irrespective of the contract duration or the extension commitments.

Downpayment Offer :

a. Downpayment processed towards any car under this offer is Non-Refundable

b. No Refund for Early return or cancellation of the booking processed under the downpayment offer

c. Downpayment offer cannot be combined with any other offers (Coupon Code, Tactical Sale offers, Card offers etc.)

d. All other terms and conditions will follow the standard rental terms.

e. Offer is subject to availability and selfdrive reserves the right to terminate this offer without any prior notice or information

Booking Cancellation

a) Any booking cancellation due to KYC rejection will be refunded to Renter/Hirers credit(or) debit card within 7 working days.

b) Any cancellation (Booking, Extension, Installment, Additional services &Non-Rental Charges etc.) other than due to KYC rejection will be refunded to Selfdrive "Credit" within 24 hours.

Security Deposit

All security deposit refunds will be processed to Selfdrive credits within 24 hours from the close of the renter's /hirer's reservation.�

Utilization of Selfdrive Credits

a) Rental credits can be utilized for new reservations, extension, non-rentals etc.

b) Deposit credit can be utilized for making new reservations as one time deposit.

Claiming of Selfdrive Credits

a) Rental credits can be claimed and will be transferred to renter's/hirer's credit(or) debit card within 7 working days.

b) Deposit credits are transferred from total credits to clear credits after 30 working days.

c) Clear deposit credits can be claimed and will be transferred to renter's/hirer's credit(or) debit card within 3- 5 working days.

a) Delivery/Collection of vehicles is chargeable and subject to a minimum charge of £50 each way.

b) Selfdrive-ireland.com or its affiliate partners will not be responsible for any delay in delivery/collection due to unforeseen circumstances which includes traffic, weather conditions etc.

a) All Airport Parking charges needs to be paid by the renter. Incase the payment is done by selfdrive-ireland.com, additional GBP 25 will be charged as surcharge in addition to the airport parking charges.

a)We offer 24 hours breakdown service. Hirers have to contact our partner(Contact details in the E Ticket received in registered email) and follow instructions to receive help.

a) Additional charges shall be applicable to the Hirer for Tollgate pass(If Any) at actuals with a service charge of GBP 2 per crossing(if applicable) as well as for Nav/GPS system, tracker system, child/baby seats, or any other additional requirements of Hirer and as per the Law.

a) Our vehicles are not permitted to be used for Safari / Fun-drive / Race / Off roading / Advertising ; The Hirer will be held liable to pay all damages, necessary repairs & towing charges if he failed to adhere with the same.

b) In general the rental vehicle may only be used in the state of pick-up and the surrounding geographical area (Region).

a) Hirer commits and agrees that he won't allow anybody to drive the rented vehicle unless been authorized by selfdrive-ireland.com

b) Hirer undertakes that neither he nor any of the listed additional drivers will use the vehicle in, Pushing, Pulling or Towing objects, Races & Fun Drive, Rough Roads & desert Safaris, teach Driving, rent the vehicle without selfdrive-ireland.com permission. Hirers that fail to adhere to the same will be held responsible & liable for all charges resulting from damages, penalties, fines & other dues Hirer commits that he/any additional driver will not drive the vehicle outside UK.

a)Use of website/PWA/Mobile Application(IOS & Android) and services of booking / rental / driving of selfdrive-ireland.com is available only to persons who are above the age of 24 years and max 65years and can form a legally binding contract under the local Law. If you are a minor i.e. under the age of majority specified by Law of the Land, you may use https://www.selfdrive-ireland.com only through a parent or guardian, but you are not permitted to subscribe to the services yourself by using the website/PWA/Mobile Application(IOS & Android).

a)All the commercial terms will be as per the agreed terms with selfdrive-ireland.com and it will prevail over all the other agreements/contracts/terms etc.

b) Selfdrive-ireland.com or its affiliate partners reserves the right to terminate the rental contract/agreement for any of the below mentioned reasons but not limited to with no liability shared or assumed:

1. Non-Recovery of the Payment – Rental & Non-Rental (Traffic Fines, Security Deposit, Damage Claim etc.)

2. Violation of the Rules & Regulations by the hirer/driver/renter

3. Unauthorized usage of the vehicle with no prior approval from selfdrive-ireland.com

4. Non abidance to the general terms & conditions of Selfdrive-ireland.com or its affiliate partners.

a) It will be the full discretion of Selfdrive-ireland.com and its associate partners to offer any compensation in any situation that deems fit and the situation will be assessed with the proper documentation (circumstantial or objective) and the details of the compensation if any will be referred back to the renter in 7 working days.

Any request to add an additional driver to the rental agreement/contract is subject to approval of Selfdrive-ireland.com or its affiliate partners. When making the request, the complete details of the additional driver with the documents has to be provided to check the eligibility. Where we have agreed/approved the additional driver, the required fees as specified in the PWA/Website/Mobile APP (or) as notified over the phone at the time of request has to be paid for the activation/inclusion of the additional driver. There will be no partial inclusion of the additional driver to the rental contract i.e., the additional driver fee will be for the complete duration as per the original rental contract/agreement.

a)Renter/Driver/Hirers are requested to inspect the vehicle thoroughly while returning and are required to take sufficient photos or notes of any damage or condition of the car if required for any future reference. In case of any claim by our supplier partners and if no sufficient evidence or proof is provided by the hirer to dispute the claim, Selfdrive-ireland.com reserves the right to charge the card on file for the damage claim and no refunds/compensations will be awarded for the same.

b) Renter/Hirer/Driver should take all reasonable efforts to return the vehicle to our partner location during the operating hours and should handover the vehicle to the person in charge. In case of vehicle abandonment/left unattended during the end of the rental, any damage or any charges claimed by the partner will be processed towards the card on file and no compensation/refund request will be accepted unless the damage is caused by the negligence of us or one of our employees subject to proper evidence is being provided to dispute the claim.

c) if the collection was opted by the renter/hirer/driver, the vehicle must be parked in a suitable place to allow collection, without any imposition of any fines or penalties.
